Hello, my name is Mr. Wright! I am very excited to be a part of the STEM Academy education department. I have been given the awesome task of teaching Career Exploration and Introduction to Marketing for the 4th marking period.
I have more than 25 years of working experience with at risk youth as a mentor, coach, advocate and teacher. This is my 2nd year employed by Chester Upland School District, last year as a climate manager at Chester High and this year as business education teacher at STEM. In addition; I’ve run several successful business’ including a real estate & property management company, community outreach programs, a transitional home for women and a staff member with the Delaware Boys and Girls Club of America for more than 25 years.
My education includes a BS in Accounting & Business Administration from Delaware State University and a master’s in business administration from Strayer University. My most recent working experience includes working with adjudicating youth at the State of Delaware Youth Detention center and Ferris School for Boys, as career exploration instructor focusing of re-entry to public school, employment and job training.

- This course covers the foundations and functions of Marketing as described in the National Marketing Curriculum. It approaches marketing as an integrated set of tasks (functions), built on a solid set of foundations (economics, finance, career preparation). Students learn the various functions of marketing, but also discover how each function fits with the others in real world situations.
