Hello, 

I have been teaching since 1993 and I am proud to have called Chester Upland School District (CUSD) home since 2013. Within the district, I have taught at both Chester High School and Toby Farms.  Prior to my arrival at CUSD, I taught math to students at a private school for delinquent and dependent youth, high school English at an online school, and a bricks-and-mortar school in Philadelphia. I even worked with adults to help them obtain their GED. Of all of my experiences, working with the students of Chester has been by far the most rewarding.

I hold a Level II Certification to teach Secondary English in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

In our class, we will become better thinkers, better writers, and better citizens of our local, digital, and global communities. Together, we are #TOBYSTRONG and we will rise above any and all challenges to make this year our most successful year ever! Two courageous stands that we must take together are kindness and patience-we can meet and defeat any obstacle that comes our way if we remember that kindness counts and patience is key.
